Michelle Grech, Partner and Chief Operating Officer of MELT, the Atlanta-based sports and entertainment marketing agency, has been named to the board of directors of The Atlanta Sports Council.
The Atlanta Sports Council (ASL), is a division of The Metro Atlanta Chamber, facilitating the growth and development of sports in metro Atlanta by serving as an event recruiter for major professional, collegiate and high school sports organizations.
The board is comprised of a veritable who’s who of civic and corporate leaders from corporations such as The Coca-Cola Company, Chick-Fil-A, The Home Depot and many others.
Grech’s appointment follows her recent award from the Sports Business Journal as a 2013 Game Changer. Grech has been a partner at MELT since 2006 and oversees many of the firms activations including The Coca-Cola Company’s collegiate sports activations, the LakePoint youth sports complex and many others. Grech is also active in various Arthritis Foundation activities as well. Having rheumatoid arthritis herself, Grech works to help others to raise funds and focus on treatment and cures for this debilitating disease.

Grech is a graduate of both the University of Michigan and Emory University School of Business. She, her husband Jason and daughter Mackenzie reside in Brookhaven.
